The short version: we collect only what we need to help you, we never sell it, and we never ask for your passwords.

What we collect
- What you tell us on our forms: your name, phone, email, address, zip code, the device and problem you describe, and when you'd like a visit.
- What we learn at a visit: notes about the work we did, the time it took and what you paid, so we can help you again later.
- Basic website data: like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site running and secure.
What we never collect
- We never ask for your passwords over the phone, by email, by text or on our website. During a visit, you type them in yourself.
- We don't copy, browse or keep your personal files, photos, email or messages. If moving your files is part of the job, we move them from one of your devices to another, and nothing stays with us.
How we use your information
- To call, text or email you about your request and visits.
- To keep simple records of the work we did and payments.
- If you joined the waitlist or helper list, to tell you when we reach your area or start hiring.
- Occasionally, to ask how your visit went and whether you'd leave a review. You can always say no.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your information, ever. We share it only with services we use to run the business, for example our website host (Netlify), which receives the form and delivers your request to our inbox, and a card payment processor if you pay by card. We'll also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep records of requests and visits for as long as they're useful for serving you and for tax and bookkeeping purposes. Ask us anytime and we'll delete what we don't legally need to keep.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or ask us to stop contacting you. Just call (402) 819-9992 or email hello@gettechrescue.com.
Children
Our services and website are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
